“Izandla” means Hands.
The name is a direct reflection of how every Izandla Creations product comes to life. Each bag is made by our own hands, bringing together beadwork, crystal details and purposeful design through a patient, hands-on process.
Izandla Creations operates from Soweto, Johannesburg. The culture, colour and vibrant energy of Soweto are woven into the spirit of the designs. This local heritage is not an added theme; it is part of the environment in which the work is imagined and carefully created.
These pieces are not produced on a factory line. Handcrafting requires time, focus and the judgement that grows through artisan experience. The result is an approach centred on authenticity, precision and a clear respect for the making process.
